Connect Digitally

Being the Church

Church is not defined by a building. The people are church. Church is living a life committed to God and spreading Christ's love no matter where we are. In this time of physical distancing, we are not isolated from each other. We as a church community and as individuals will not stop doing ministry, no matter where we are. Below are ways  to connect and engage virtually:

Online Worship, Sundays, 10 AM

In order to safeguard the health of the community and for all people, we won't be meeting in-person for awhile. But, worship is still happening-we continue to share the good news, to spread the amazing grace of God and unite through the love of Christ. Be a part of worship:

  • Facebook: Worship will be premiered on our Facebook Page at 10 AM. Here, we will be connecting and engaging virtually. We welcome everyone to worship together.

  • Website: You can also worship on our website by visiting ucpreston.org/online-worship.

  • YouTube: The service will also be on our YouTube channel.

Services are available on all three platforms for later viewing.

Support the Community

Cornerstones assists local residents facing financial hardship. UCP is collecting food to donate to them. Needed items:
  • Sugar
  • Flour
  • Oil
  • Oatmeal
  • Fruit cups
  • Disinfecting wipes
Drop off donations on Wednesday, July 29, from 9 AM-1 PM and Saturday, August 1 from 12-3 PM.  We are using an abundance of caution in our drop off procedure. Donations will be collected in Room 107 (the former Sanctuary). The outside door entrance to drop off donations is towards the back of the parking lot. It will be unlocked and marked with a sign to direct you. Please do not make extra grocery store trips for this. If you have extra food at home to donate, this is a great opportunity. Learn more.
