Saturday, October 20, 2018, 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM
All too often, there seem to be more attacks against our humanity, against social justice, against inclusion, equality and peace. This conference hosted by the Justice & Peace Ministry (JPMT) of UCP is an action toward its calling to stand up, speak out and work in solidarity with other justice movements of our time. It is more important than ever for people of hope to come together for dialogue. We will not agree on all of the issues, but we can find common ground to further the work of compassionate justice.
Through the United Christian Parish's commitment this conference is available to the public at no financial expense. Though registration can be done onsite the day of the event, advanced registration is encouraged using Eventbrite.
Professor Shawn McGuffey from Boston College will be a featured speaker, also facilitating a talk around Working for Justice and Civility. We are excited that ADAMS Beats will be performing.
