Lent: Scandalous Truth

The Lent theme for 2019 is Scandalous Truth. Just as he did 2,000 years ago, Jesus still promises, "Blessed is the one who is not scandalized at me" (Matthew 11:6). The challenge for us this Lent is to wrestle with the scandal of the Bible. Throughout Lent, we explore the theme of Scandalous Truth.

There are many ways to engage spiritually this Lenten season. All are welcome! No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, or your familiarity with UCP, you are invited! If you have any questions about any of the events or would like more information, contact Pastor Beth Williams.
