What is stewardship?
Stewardship is about being grateful, responsible stewards of the gifts we receive from God.
What is pledging?
A pledge is an estimate of how much money you plan to give to UCP in the upcoming year.
What happens if I make a pledge and then can't meet it?
Don't worry! A pledge is a serious commitment, but it is not a binding contract. The amount you give to UCP in the upcoming year may be more or less than the amount you pledge. Circumstances and your financial situation may change.
By pledging, you support the ministry and mission of United Christian Parish and our goals for the upcoming year:
UCP is committed to tithing (10%) of its pledges specifically to the work of our Missions Ministry, which serves our sisters and brothers locally, nationally and globally.
Your pledge is instrumental in the creation of the annual budget so we may wisely plan how to use our resources.
How much should I pledge?
There is no right or wrong amount. We ask each parishioner to consider making a pledge that is both responsible and significant based on her or his financial situation.
How do I pledge?
The easiest way to pledge is to do so online, by filling out the electronic pledge card below:
You may also email your pledge to Micaela Hanney, UCP's Bookkeeper.
Who should I contact if I have questions?
Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions. You may send any questions you have to Micaela.
