Throughout Lent, we are carrying the message of Glitter + Ash to share a story of hope through Christ and to share an inclusive Christian message.
There are many ways to engage spiritually this Lenten season. No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, or your familiarity with UCP, you are invited!
WORSHIP, 10 AM (online only)
Daily scriptures and readings will be posted throughout Lent. You can read them on our blog.
Engage in a creative spiritual discipline. Share your photo that relates to the day’s word on UCP’s Facebook Page or use #lentucp to post on your own Instagram, or other social media account. For a list of daily words, click here.
Wednesdays, through April 8, 10 AM
Study Made for a Miracle: From Your Ordinary to God‘s Extraordinary by Mike Slaughter. The focus of the group is to explore two components of every miracle: divine action and human responsibility. Participants will meet through ZOOM. Email Pastor Beth to join in on Wednesdays!
JUST MATTERS STUDY
Join the Facebook Group to connect with others and to engage in meaningful discussion. Participants will read two books, The Color of Compromise, by Jemar Tisby, and Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome, by Joy DeGruy. A third book, 40 Days of Prayer, by Cheri Mills, guides the weekly spiritual practice.
Stay tuned for details about Maundy Thursday & Good Friday.
