Care & Prayer
Life can be tough, but you don’t have to go through it alone. If you’re in a season of needing some extra support, we’d love to support you.
prayer
Prayer is a way of working with God to carry us through both the good and the bad times. We are here to pray with and for you. If you would like, a member of our care team will follow up with you.

MEMORIAL SERVICES
United Christian Parish is here to offer you comfort and support during your time of loss. We understand how painful it can be to lose someone and the importance of celebrating their life. The pastoral staff will walk you through your days of grief and help you to plan a meaningful service to remember your loved one. Please notify Pastor Marcus to begin planning a memorial service.
WEDDINGS
Are you looking for premarital counseling or need a pastor to officiate your wedding? UCP is excited to be a part of celebrating your wedding. Contact the office by email or phone if you are seeking wedding services.
HOSPITAL VISITS
When illness strikes, we want to be there for you. If you or a family member is experiencing hospitalization, please contact our Congregational Care Team.
MEET WITH A PASTOR
Perhaps you are feeling anxious, lonely or are experiencing hardship. If you would like to speak with a pastor—at our church in Reston or online—to work through issues or struggles you can reach out to us take make an appointment. Our pastors are not licensed professional counselors, but they can pray with you and help you find God’s comfort.
Samaritan of the month
Our Congregational Care Ministry (CCM) works with our pastors to provide loving Christian care and support to our members, friends and neighbors experiencing a time of need. Every month, a member of the Congregational Care Ministry serves as the designated Samaritan of the Month. That person receives information on needs of Parishioners and friends and coordinates efforts so that assistance can be provided. Learn more by watching the video.
If you have a need for meals, transportation, errands, visitation or assistance in any other form, we invite you to contact this month’s Samaritan: Marilyn Silvey.
