UCP is here to offer you comfort and support during your time of loss. We understand how painful it can be to lose someone and the importance of celebrating their life. The pastoral staff will walk you through your days of grief and help you to plan a meaningful service to remember your loved one. Please notify Pastor Marcus to begin planning a memorial service.

Baptism

Baptism is a public declaration of faith in Christ and one of the most important events in the life of a Christian. If you've committed to Christ as the forgiver of your sins and your leader and you want to make your decision known, we offer believer's baptism. If you are considering baptism, we are honored to walk you through that step.

We also welcome infants and children into the family of God through the sacrament of baptism.

CONGREGATIONAL MEETING

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 12, 11 AM

The purpose of the Congregational Meeting is to elect people to the Lay Leadership Nominating Committee (LLNC) positions currently vacant. It will be held on Zoom and should last approximately 20 minutes. If you are a member you are able to vote. For all non-members you are welcome to attend and observe the meeting.

HOW TO ATTEND

ONLINE: You are invited to join the Congregational Meeting from wherever you are on Zoom. Use this link to join. You will be instructed on how to vote during the meeting.

ONSITE: If you are worshiping onsite on September 12, you can remain in the sanctuary. The meeting will be displayed on a large monitor. There will be paper ballots for you to vote.

Fall picnic

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 12

United Christian Parish will kick off a new season of faith formation opportunities with a fun outdoor picnic. In addition to yummy food, the picnic will have fun family activities for all ages. If you are new to United Christian Parish, this is a great way for you to meet others!

Food will be provided and there is no cost to attend. The picnic will be outside out building.
