Prayer WALK

Prayer walking is a type of intercessory prayer that involves walking to or near a particular place while praying. The United Christian Parish Board is hosting a 2.2-mile prayer walk around Lake Anne.

The path has two or three short hills and stairs near the end.  It is mainly shade but the walk at the end near Lake Anne Plaza is sunny.  There are benches looking out over the lake if you need to rest for a minute.  Please bring water with you.  If you need protection from the small sunny area, you can bring sunglasses and a hat.  

We will meet at UCP near the turn around (closest to the door 1 entrance) .  We will start our walk by crossing North Shore and going down a gentle slope to the Lake Anne area  (no crosswalk but line of site good) and walk counter clockwise around the lake. Maps will be provided. The rain date is September 29.
